Meet the Team

FounderRobbie is a fully qualified and licensed builder with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His expertise spans a wide range of projects, including architectural new builds, commercial construction, and civil works. Known to many as Rob, he thrives on the challenges the construction industry presents and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects that are completed on time and to the highest standards.
In his role at Uden Homes, Rob works closely with customers to guide them through the building process. His extensive experience is invaluable in making key decisions regarding construction methods, as well as selecting materials and products that are durable and suitable for New Zealand's unique environmental conditions. Rob’s approach can be summed up in his mantra: "Build with a builder, not a salesman."
Outside of work, Rob enjoys the outdoors. When he’s not hiking up mountains across the country or exploring native bush, you’ll likely find him tending to his vegetable garden or working on his property.

FounderKees Van Lieshout is a qualified and licensed builder in New Zealand, with 16 years of experience in the building industry, spanning both New Zealand and the UK. His extensive experience includes high-spec architectural builds, smaller new builds, light commercial work, and renovations, showcasing his diverse skill set across a variety of projects.
As Director of Uden Homes, Kees plays a very hands-on role in the company’s operations. He leads building teams both on-site and off-site, ensuring that his wealth of experience is passed on to the in-house workforce. Kees is a strong advocate for training and developing his own staff, ensuring they fully understand the expectations and quality standards the company delivers on every project. This commitment to in-house training sets Uden Homes apart from other companies, as it eliminates the reliance on external contractors with unknown skill sets or varying quality.
When Kees is not overseeing construction projects or holding site meetings, he enjoys playing squash, golf, and spending time outdoors.

ManagerWith 12 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Nic is a qualified builder with a strong passion for bringing exceptional designs to life. Additionally holding a Certificate in Construction Trades Supervision, he has honed his skills across a wide range of projects, including new residential builds, renovations, architectural design, commercial construction, and outdoor structures. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Nic takes pride in delivering high-quality, reliable results on every project.
As the Construction Manager at Uden Homes, Nic thrives on turning clients’ visions into reality. He is dedicated to ensuring transparent communication throughout the entire construction process, streamlining workflows, and consistently delivering products that exceed expectations. Nic’s hands-on approach and commitment to quality craftsmanship make him a trusted partner in building projects from start to finish.
Away from the job site, Nic is a competitive sportsman, particularly in squash. When he’s not on the court, you can find him socializing with friends, working on projects around the house, or daydreaming about his next fishing adventure.
